Frequently asked questions
What should I do if a result appears incorrect?
Send us the result.json and the relevant screenshot. Reported false positives are used to improve the checks. Our target is a precision of at least 90% for rule-based results.
Does webauditlabs make changes to my website?
No. Checks are read-only: they do not submit forms or send data to the site. Form diagnostics inspect the page without submitting.
Can I check a local or staging environment?
Yes, with the CLI. Pass --allow-private to check localhost or private network addresses. Hosted cloud scans will only reach publicly accessible sites.
