webauditlabs documentation
webauditlabs finds website issues and backs every finding with a screenshot. The webauditlabs CLI is free and local-first: it runs Chromium on your machine and needs no account. webauditlabs Cloud adds hosted execution, monitoring, regression history and collaboration, using the same engine and result format.

Principles
Section titled “Principles”- Local-first. Local checks need no account, API key or connection to webauditlabs services.
- Rule-based checks. The core checks do not use AI and return the same result for the same page.
- Evidence with every finding. Each finding references the page, locale, viewport, elements and a screenshot.
- Tool errors are reported separately. If the browser or the tool fails, the run ends with
execution_error; no site issue is reported. - Read-only. No form submissions, no non-GET requests, and no private network addresses unless you pass
--allow-private. - One format everywhere. CLI, cloud, REST API and MCP use the same
result.v1findings and rule identifiers.
